Discussion: Peak K2 is menatetrenone (MK-4), a form of vitamin K2 made in the body form phylloquinone (vitamin K1) and distinct from the menaquinones made by probiotic bacteria. Available science indicates that vitamin K2 -- and especially menatetrenone -- is superior to Vitamin K1. |

I started taking Vitamin K2 [MK-4] a few years ago when I read research about it helping dental sensitivity. The results have been astonishing. All sensitivity has completely gone and I do not use a sensitive toothpaste any more. I take it with the meal that has the most fat in that day as it helps with absorption. If it has helped my teeth so much I can only imagine that it is good for my bones too although I dont have any direct anecdotal evidence for that!!
